Anything Is Possible….
….. as long as there’s faith, trust…and a little pixie dust?”
It was definitely a little more than pixie dust that won SMK Taman SEA its second win in the span of 12 days, this time at the State Level English Drama Competition in SM Sains, Batang Kali. The competition this time was tougher. The team went against the best of 9 other districts. The teams came decked in colourful costumes and impressive sets, had dancing prop people and smoke machines. SMK Taman SEA came with only a table, a mirror and a chest…but our (secret) weapons lay in a creative storyline and an amazing team. And armed with those weapons, SMK Taman SEA swept first place, as well as a surprise win of Best Script.
The bus ride home was filled with energy and noise, despite 2 long days of very little sleep. The students were busy planning their next “road trip”…onto Nationals in Kota Kinabalu Sabah! And Miss Ann was busy thinking of more gold flowers to deck the dayangs’ with and to finally get a keris for Tunku!
